   Xtreme Intervention: Is the simplification of months and months of research done in order to inform and help people understand that there are three simple facts to being healthier, happier and raising your potential for a longer disease free life.
    I want to forewarn you that the information below has a light baseball bat delivery system, so you have been warned.

There are 3 simple yet important facts in prioritized order here, based on a time line of survival if taken away.

      We need oxygen to breathe or perish within minutes!
      We need water to hydrate or perish in days!
      We need proper food to eat or perish in weeks! 

       We are only going to examine the last two as oxygen as you can see is the most important element to our survival and we will touch on it but only in regards to its internal needs and uses.

      Our focus here is on what we ingest in the way of foods and most importantly water/fluids. As these two have the most impact on our health and deterioration of our physical bodies from the inside out.

      I must at this point state that it is no wonder we have become a disease ridden, obese society as it takes a degree in Biology, chemistry, physiology and as a dietitian to begin to understand the true nature of what we need to be truly healthy. There is an extremely complex chemical reaction that goes on internally when you drink, eat and even when you don't do either of these properly. This is to no fault of yours as we are under constant bombardment by the media since the invention of TV with commercials to condition us all from a tantalizing standpoint on the use of most food and beverage products. 

      Media driven, our own human nature to travel the shortest path has lead us down the wrong path to the long road of dehydration and debilitating diseases causing premature aging and death, while buying into the idea we can be saved by medical science. Our medical science has topped out in that most solutions to problems either are a band aide on a gunshot wound or  by taken a given medication to solve a symptom in return gives you two or three other symptoms! 

      Brad King M.S. MFS. has written many books on nutritional health sciences with the current one being Xtreme Health. I not only believe in but also support his goal of  "Changing the Health of a Generation" through simple education of factual information. One of Brad's most important statements is that "we are alkaline by nature and acidic by function". This is the base foundation in the simplification process. Even in a totally relaxed state your body is functioning which in turn produces acidic exhaust internally. Then on top of this most food items or fluid intake are acidic. 

      So what is relevant about the pH value of food and water? Our natural internal pH balance is between 7.35 and 7.45 with 7.365 being classified as dead 0 (balanced)! Once you go below 7.12 is acidic and harmful to us in nature. Above 7.45 is alkaline and beneficial to us in nature. Now the most important fact of all is that all disease cells, tissue, bacteria and viruses can only live in an acidic environment, but in research study after study die quickly in a alkaline pH environment. 

      The most baffling fact to me is once you are a cancer survivor and or patient you are assigned a dietitian that immediately puts you on an ALKALINE diet. WHY? Because they all know very well the facts I've just mentioned above here and the benefits of an alkaline internal state. The next most astounding thing to me is how people wait untill they're on their death bed to try anything in order to stay alive rather then doing by normal function the small things necessary to be healthy. The jury is still out on the debate of how long we could live given the optimal environment and conditions.

      What you are looking at are healthy normal alkaline pH balanced blood cells. As you can see they are wide spread in order to function properly. Each cell has a negative exterrior charge repelling themselves from each other. Their most important function is to carry oxygen throughout your body.

      Below you are looking at blood cells that have been depolarized due to an acidic state. The acidic state has reversed their exterrior charge to a positive one. Now they stick together like positive charged magnets, but with magnets one side is + while the other is -.  Here being a sphere, the complete surface is positive, so they clump together.

Water: The second most important element to our survival and the most important to our body that we ingest. We are comprised of 70% water with varying percentages depending on cell and or organ type. I can not stress enough the importance of alkaline water intake in proper amounts. This to neutralize our acid by function state, not to mention the extreme acidicness of nearly all common beverages and fluids being drank today. ( see chart here ) Most seniors only have on an average a 60% water content due to an eXtreme lack of alkaline water intake! This is a serious state of de-hydration causing many diseases and aliments such as heart disease, cancers, osteoporosis, and others.

Food: The foods we eat are necessary to provide us with fuels to burn to produce energy. A very large percentage of these foods are highly acidic. This multiplies our acidic internal slide scale further into the acidic side as we ingest acid to produce more acid by function. An alkaline diet does not mean strickly alkaline foods!
 To restore your health an 80% alkaline 20% acidic formula is advised.
